1. Definitions

“Site” means the pages at truecanadavest.net. “Materials” means the text, diagrams, and courses published here. “We” means the educational project True Canada Vest. “You” means a person reading or writing to the site.

2. Educational nature

The materials explain vocabulary used around startup funding, market structure, financial instruments, analytical reading, and AI-assisted tools. They are courses and notes. They are not financial services, not investment advice, not a brokerage, and not a trading platform. Nothing on the site is an offer, a solicitation, or a signal to buy, sell, or hold anything.

3. Acceptable use

• Read, quote short passages with attribution, and share links.
• Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other readers.
• Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or misleading messages through the contact form.
• Do not present our pages as personalised advice or as coming from a regulated dealer.

4. Intellectual property

The arrangement of the atlas, the original explanatory text, and the site’s marks belong to True Canada Vest unless a passage clearly cites another author. Public documents we mention remain the property of their publishers. You may not copy the site’s design or republish whole pages as your own course.

5. Liability

The materials are provided as explanations of public concepts. They can be incomplete, and language in markets changes. To the extent Canadian law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make after reading a page, for interruptions in hosting, or for the content of sites we link to as sources. Some liability cannot be excluded, including liability that statute does not allow a publisher to waive. Those limits still apply.

6. Risk

Markets can fall. Instruments can become illiquid. A clear definition is not a forecast. You remain responsible for any decision you take outside this site, including whether to speak with a registered adviser. Past descriptions of how a market worked are not a statement about what will happen next.

7. Business model

Revenue, when there is any, comes from advertising and from educational content. The notes on this site are free to read. We do not sell financial products. We do not take commissions for recommending investment products, brokers, exchanges, or platforms, and the pages do not name those businesses.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would send the dispute elsewhere. Courts in British Columbia are the forum for a dispute about these terms, except where a consumer statute gives you a different local forum.
